در چهارمین جلسه فیلم بینی گروهی تبریز، هفتم تیرماه ۱۳۹۸ از ساعت ۱۷ الی ۲۰ در شرکت فراسیستم فرتاک به آدرس تبریز، چهارراه بهشتی (منصور)، اول کوچه صدر، پلاک ۲۶، درب سمت راست، دور هم جمع خواهیم شد تا به تماشای گروهی فیلم Moneyball بنشینیم.

معرفی فیلم Moneyball
هنگامی که فیلمی ورزشی اکران می شود چندان به آن اهمیتی نمیدهیم چون اغلب این فیلمها، شعاری هستند و همه ما میدانیم که در انتهای فیلم احتمالا قرار است بازیکن نخاله تیم تبدیل به یک قهرمان بینظیر شود. اما «مانیبال» برخلاف ظاهرش، ارتباطی به بازی بیسبال ندارد و هرآنچه که در پشت پرده این ورزش میگذرد را به تصویر کشیده است. این فیلم براساس کتابی با عنوان «مانیبال : هنر پیروزی در یک بازی غیرمنصفانه» ساخته شده است. این کتاب درباره شخصیتی واقعی به نام بیلی بین بود که میتوان گفت با مدیریت عجیب و غریب خود توانست از تیمِ تقریباً منحل شده اوکلاند اِیز، تیمی پرقدرت بسازد که کمتر کسی میتوانست به آسانی آن را شکست دهد. وی هم اکنون نیز در لیگ بیسبال آمریکا فعالیت میکند و یکی از محترمترین افراد حاضر در این ورزش به حساب میآید.
تیم بیسبال اوکلاند اِیز (Oakland A's) دچار بحران شده و به نظر میرسد که در لیگ جاری بیسبال در آمریکا، نمایش نامید کنندهای از خود نشان خواهد داد. بیلی بین (برد پیت) مدیر کل این تیم است. تیم او در عین شایستگی و موفقیت هایی که در لیگ بیسبال بدست آورده بود، به دلیل مشکلات مالی فراوان مجبور به فروش بازیکنان ستاره خود شد؛ بطوریکه اکنون تیم او هیچ نشانی از گذشته درخشانش ندارد.
اما بیلی فکر تازهایی در سر پرورانده است، او قصد دارد تا بجای بازیکنان حرفهایِ لیگ، جمعی از بازیکنان آماتور را به عضویت تیمش درآورد و با آنها در لیگ بیسبال شرکت کند. با شنیده شدن این خبر توسط تیمهای دیگر، همه مربیان و مدیران اعلام میکنند که بیلی بین دچار نوعی جنون شده و بهتر است که سری به پزشک بزند. ولی انها خبر ندارند که بیلی قرار است قوانین مدیریت بیسبال را به کلی عوض کند.
هیچکس نمیداند که هدف بین از جذب این بازیکنان آماتور چیست اما بزودی پی میبریم که او با کمک فردی به نام پیتر براند (جوناه هیل)، قصد دارد تا طوفانی در لیگ بپا کند و ....
«مانیبال» درباره تمام اتفاقات پشت صحنه باشگاه اوکلاند ایز در اواخر دههی ۹۰ است. این فیلم با وسواسی مثال زدنی موفق شده تا تمام اتفاقاتی را که در آن سالِ رویایی برای تیم اوکلاند ایز رخ داد را به تصویر بکشد. «مانیبال» ابتدا به گذشته بیلی بین میپردازد و به نوعی گذشته او را برای تماشاگر روشن میکند ، سپس به زمان حال برمیگردیم و او را در موقعیتی نامناسب از لحاظ کاری میبینیم و اینجاست که قصه اصلی فیلم آغاز میشود.
بعد از تماشای گروهی فیلم قرار هست در مورد این فیلم با هم بحث کنیم و از تصمیمهای سخت بیلی بین و پایبندی او به این تصمیمها علیرغم ناراحتی بعضی از افراد تیم صحبت کنیم. در مورد امتحان روشهای نوآورانه برای حل مشکل و همینطور از صبر و تمرکز این مدیر صحبت خواهیم کرد. و همینطور سعی خواهیم کرد کمی از روایت هالیوودی فیلم فاصله بگیریم و برخی از افراد واقعی تاثیرگذار در اتفاقات این روایت را با هم بررسی کنیم.

Introduction to the film Moneyball
When a sports film is released, we often don't pay much attention to it because most of these films are clichéd, and we all know that by the end of the film, the underdog player is likely to become an extraordinary champion. However, “Moneyball” contrary to its appearance, has nothing to do with baseball and depicts everything that happens behind the scenes of this sport. This film is based on a book titled “Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game.” This book is about a real character named Billy Beane who can be said to have managed to turn the almost dissolved Oakland A's into a powerful team that few could easily defeat. He is still active in Major League Baseball and is considered one of the most respected individuals in this sport.
The baseball team Oakland A's is in crisis and seems to be showing a disappointing performance in the current baseball league in America. Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) is the general manager of this team. Despite the merits and successes his team had in Major League Baseball, due to numerous financial problems, he was forced to sell his star players; so much so that now his team shows no signs of its glorious past.
But Billy has come up with a fresh idea; he intends to recruit a group of amateur players instead of professional league players and participate in the baseball league with them. Upon hearing this news, all other teams' coaches and managers declare that Billy Beane has gone mad and should see a doctor. But they do not know that Billy is about to completely change the rules of baseball management.
No one knows what Beane's goal is in recruiting these amateur players, but soon we find out that with the help of a person named Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), he intends to create a storm in the league and ....
“Moneyball” is about all the events behind the scenes of the Oakland A's club in the late 90s. This film has successfully depicted all the events that took place in that dream year for the Oakland A's with remarkable obsession. “Moneyball” initially delves into Billy Beane's past and somewhat clarifies his past for the viewer, then we return to the present and see him in an unfavorable work situation, and this is where the main story of the film begins.
After watching the film together, we will discuss this film and talk about Billy Beane's tough decisions and his adherence to these decisions despite some team members' discomfort. We will discuss trying innovative methods to solve problems and also patience and focus of this manager. We will also try to distance ourselves a bit from the Hollywood narrative of the film and examine some of the real influential individuals in the events of this narrative together.
