شرکت تومن بعد از چندین ماه پیگیری و جلسات متعدد با مدیران شهری مجوز فعالیت به صورت پایلوت در تبریز رو اخذ کرده و از ابتدای اردیبهشت ماه تجهیز ناوگان تاکسیرانی به این سیستم آغاز شده ، هم اکنون بیش از هزار دستگاه تاکسی در تبریز مجهز به این سیستم هستند و روزانه بر تعداد پذیرنده ها افزوده میشه .تومن یک شرکت دانش بنیان هست و تلاش دارد با خلق ارزش افزوده برای پذیرنده ها و کاربران چالش های موجود در حوزه پرداخت های خرد را با ارائه بهترین راهکار های موجود حل کند.
هم اکنون در ایستگاه های آبرسان، نصف راه، سه راه ولیعصر، سه راه طالقانی و عباسی و باغمیشه چهارراه لاله امکان استفاده از این روش برای پرداخت کرایه تاکسی وجود دارد و این شرکت در تلاش است به سرعت سایر خطوط را نیز تجهیز کند، پیشبینی میشود طی سه ماه آینده این امکان در تمام نقاط تبریز و حومه قابل استفاده خواهد بود.

فعالیت اجرائی تومن در تهران از مرداد ماه شروع شده است، سال نود و هفت عملیات اجرائی ( تجهیز تاکسی های تهران ، کرج ، رشت ، کرمان ) انجام شد و هم اکنون در حال تکمیل هست و سال نود هشت تبریز ، اصفهان شروع شده و به تدریج پوشش سراسری رو در بر خواهد گرفت. در حال حاضر تومن نزدیک به سیصد هزار کاربر و چهل هزار دستگاه تاکسی فعال دارد.
