بار اولی که درمورد این سری جلسات شنیدم تابستان پیش بود، یکی از دوستانم که چند باری در جلسات شرکت داشت برایم از جلسات باز نرم افزاری گفت و صفحه فیسبوکشان را نشانم داد، برایم جالب بود، اما حس مثبتی به شرکت در جمعی که برای متخصصین یک حوزه است، نداشتم. این شد که نرفتم و نرفتم تا آذر ماه که برای اولین بار در جلسه ای که بر نقد استارت آپ ویکند تبریز بود شرکت کردم، با وجودی که تازه وارد جمع بودم خیلی راحت وارد بحث شدم، حرف زدم، نظر دادم، و همانجا شروعی شد برای من که با قرار گرفتن در همچون جو پویایی از مدت ها بی حرکتی و بی انگیزگی در آیم و خیلی از آدمهای این جمع ها شدند الهام بخشانی برای من تا به بهتر بودن فقط فکر نکنم، الگو بگیرم و خود بسازم.
اما این جلسات از کجا شروع شدند،کجا میروند و چرایی برگزاریشان را من از عزیزانی خواستم برایتان توضیح دهند که خود پایه گذار و راهبر جلسات هستند، افرادی که صمیمانه پذیرای حضورتان خواهند بود به شرطی که لبخندتان را با خودتان به جمع ببرید.
جلسات باز نرم افزاری، حلقه ای که آرزو بود و به یک حرکت و فرهنگ تبدیل شد
چند وقت پیش که از آقای بهروز بختیاری خواستم برایم چند سطری از جلسات باز نرم افزاری بنویسد آدرس وبلاگش را برایم فرستاد و لابلای پست هایشان از ایده تشکیل حلقه ی متخصصین نرم افزار خواندم، مثل همین حلقه های ادبی. همان ایده، همان آرزو جرقه ای شد برای اینکه حالا همچون فرهنگ خوبی برای یادگیری و یاد دادن در شهرمان جا بیفتد، خواندن نوشته خودشان بیشک خالی از لطف نیست.
کافی هست صفحه جلسات باز نرم افزاری تبریز را اسکرول کنی تا برسی به آخر صفحه و اولین پست ها، تا در مورد تاریخچه ش بدانی. حاصل گفتگوهای من و اسد صفری، دغدغه های مشترک و شخصی در یک عصر تابستان حاصلش شد یک صفحه روی فیس بوک و چند تا پست روی آن صفحه...
جلساتی با عنوان براوون بگ سشن (brown-bag session) در تبریز با حضور متخصصین نرم افزار تبریز برگزار خواهد شد که در این پیچ اطلاع رسانی خواهیم کرد. هدف از جلسات : یاد بده و یاد بگیر - با دیگر متخصص های خفن شهرت آشنا شو - کار و یا کارجو پیدا کن - سطح علمیت را ارزیابی کن و کلا "فان"
ایده اصلی این جلسات از جلساتی به نام براوون بگ سشن (brown-bag session) گرفته شده است که روشی برای اشتراک دانش در تیم ها می باشد. اما تنها دغدغه ما اشتراک دانش نبود، یکی از بزرگترین مشکلات ما پیدا کردن افراد متخصص در حوزه توسعه نرم افزار و شرکتهای فعال در سطح شهر بود که می خواستیم با برگزاری این جلسات این افراد را کنار هم جمع کنیم . یک چیز را هم که لازم هست اضافه کنم این هست که از همان روزهای اول جلسات هدف ما آموزش یک زبان و یا تکنولوژی خاص نبود، هدف ما بیشتر این بود که چگونه می توانیم یک توسعه دهنده خوب بدون توجه به زبان و تکنولوژی خاص باشیم.
اولین جلسه - جمعه 90/5/21 - بیشتر از یک ساعت انتظار من و اسد نتیجه ای نداشت و خبری از دوستان دیگر نشد. نتیجه بسیار دلسرد کننده بود ولی قرار شد برای هفته بعد نیز روی صفحه پست بگذاریم. جلسه دوم دو دوست دیگر نیز به ما ملحق شدند، آرش میلانی و آیدین خلوصی. در این جلسه در مورد اهداف، دیدگاه ها و دغدغه هایمان صحبت کردیم و هدف گذاری اولیه را برای جلسات انجام دادیم و جلسات حیات رسمی خود را آغاز کرد. هفته ها، ماه ها و سال پشت سال سعی کردیم که جلسات را برگزار کنیم، گاه بهانه برای ادامه ندادن زیاد بود ولی امید و اعتقاد به چیزی که ساخته بودیم بالاتر از هر بهانه بود.
وب در کوزه و ما تشنه لبان میگردیم
آرش یزدانیان را به لطف جلسات طراحی وب میشناسم، هر چند در این حوزه فعالیت جدی ندارم اما آرش همیشه با صمیمیت خاص خود هر تازه واردی را جذب این جلسات کرده، شور و نشاطی که به جلسه می آورد را باید در علاقهای که به یاد دادن و یاد گرفتن دارد جستجو کرد و اما از زبان خود آرش:
سال ها بود در زمینه آی تی فعال بودم و به واسطه فعالیتم دوستان زیادی از شهرهای مختلف ایران داشتم اما راستش باورم شده بود که این شهر با همه اولین بودنهایش در زمینه تخصصی فعالیت من اصلا فرد فعالی ندارد. با وجود اینکه مدت ها بود صفحه " جلسات باز نرم افزاری تبریز " را لایک کرده بودم اما اصلا جور نمیشد که حداقل برای تجربه کردن هم که شده یک هفته درجلسه حاضر باشم. بالاخره یک هفته عزمم را جزم کردم که حتما در جلسه حضور داشته باشم، مخصوصا که موضوع جلسه سئو بود و با زمینه تخصصی فعالیتم هم همسو بود. جمعه یک عصر سرد پاییز یا زمستانی بود. اما اغراق نیست اگر بگویم در عین سرد بودن هوا گرمی محیط و صمیمیت را میشد کاملا حس کرد! فکر کنید اولین بار وارد یک جمع حداقل ۲۰ نفری شده اید و کسی را نمی شناسید اما در همان نیم ساعت اول یختان آب میشود و خودتان هم وارد بحث می شوید. مثل اینکه سال ها در کشوری بودید که هیچ کس زبان تکلم شما را بلد نبود و به ناگاه وارد جمعی میشوید که همه به زبان گفتار شما صحبت میکنند و این یعنی من و این همه خوشبختی محاله !!!
جلسات آزاد نرم افزاری تبریز به همت بنیانگذارانش و با مدیریت صحیحی که بر روی جلسات اعمال میشد تنها یک اسم و برند باقی نماند بلکه تبدیل به یک طرز تفکر شد! طرز تفکری که باعث راه اندازی جلسات بعدی بود. جلساتی با عنوان تقریبا یکسان در زمینه گرافیک، عکاسی، مدیریت و طراحی وب.
دیدن این همه تصویر زیبا از همدلی در بین شرکت کنندگان و آشنا شدن با جمع بزرگی از فعالین آی تی تبریز باعث شد تا به عنوان فعال در زمینه طراحی وب به فکر راه اندازی یک جلسه جدید با موضوعیت طراحی وب و با نام " جلسات آزاد طراحی وب تبریز " بیافتم. بعد از مشورت با دوستان و ایجاد صفحه اختصاصی جلسه و پس از نظرسنجی روز و زمان برگزاری، اولین جلسه طراحی وب را با موضوعیت " آشنایی و معارفه " در پاییز 92 برگزار کردیم و پس از آن هر هفته چهارشنبه شاهد حضور حداکثری دوستان بودیم به گونه ای که حتی در برخی جلسات تعداد حاضرین به 70 تا 80 نفر هم رسید و تا پایان سال 92 دقیقا 12 جلسه با محوریت طراحی وب برگزار و در طی این مدت روز به روز شاهد روند رو به جلو این جلسات بودیم...
اما من در کلید خوردن این جلسات تنها نبودم بلکه جمعی یک رنگ و یک دل همکار من بوده اند که جا دارد از همه ی آنها تشکر کنم و یک تشکر ویژه هم از مجتمع فنی تهران ( شعبه تبریز ) داشته باشم که با فراهم نمودن فضای میزبانی، میزبان جلسات ما هستند.
در پایان آینده ای درخشان برای همه دوستان فعال در این زمینه آرزو میکنم و مطمئنم قدرت در هم دل و یک صدا بودن هست.

محمد خاهانی، همیشه آرام، صمیمی و خوش قول! خیلی طول نکشید که جواب پیغامی که برایش گذاشته بودم که برایم از جلسات بنویسد را داد، خیلی جمع و جور و کامل جواب همه سوال هایم را داده بود.
گپ مدیریتی تبریز با الهام از جلسات باز نرم افزاری تبریز و گپ گرافیک تبریز و با کمک برگزارکنندگان این جلسات از آبان ماه ۹۲ شکل گرفت و هر هفته سه شنبه ها ساعت ۵ بعد از ظهر پذیرای علاقه مندان به حوزهی مدیریت و کار آفرینیست. تا کنون ۱۷ جلسه با هدف اصلی یادگیری و اشتراک تجربیات با همکاری جمعی از فعالان این حوزه برگزار شده است . هر چند مدیریت رشته ای بسیار گسترده است و گرایش های زیادی دارد ولی تمرکز جلسات گپ مدیریتی تبریز بر مباحث پیرامون مدیریت یک کسب و کار و به ویژه کسب و کارهای کوچک است، از لازمه های راه اندازی یک کسب و کار گرفته تا روش های تقویت روحیه کار آفرینی، روش های کار تیمی و مدیریت منابع انسانی، روش های بازاریابی، برندینگ و... همه موضوعاتی هستند که در این جلسات بحث می شوند و در واقع سعی برگزار کنندگان بر پوشش موضوعاتی است که مجال طرح آنها در محیط های آکادمیک وجود ندارد. اکثر شرکت کنندگان در این جلسات دانشجویان و یا فارغ التحصیلانی هستند که قصد ورود به بازار کار دارند و یا خود صاحب شرکتی هستند و به دنبال یاد گیری مباحث عملی مدیریتی هستند. در این جلسات سعی بر ایجاد محیطی صمیمی و دوستانه است تا همه امکان ابراز نظر داشته باشند و بتوانند دانسته هایشان را با همه به اشتراک بگذارند. علاوه بر این برگزارکنندگان گپ مدیریتی در آینده برنامه هایی برای آشنایی با کارآفرینان بزرگ شهر تبریز در نظر دارند تا این جلسات سهم اندکی در گسترش فرهنگ کارآفرینی در بین جوانان شهرمان داشته باشد..
زنده باد گنو لینوکس!
جلسات لاگ از سری جلساتیست که در سطح جهان به صورت گسترده ای برگزار میشوند، جلسات لاگ تبریز هم از سال ۸۴ در حال فعالیت است، البته در میانه راه جلسات متوقف شدند و از سال ۸۸ بار دیگر با قدرت بیشتری برگزاری جلسات از سر گرفته شد. یاشار اسمعیل دخت را بیشتر کسانی که در زمینه نرم افزار های متن باز و گنو لینوکس فعالیت دارند میشناسند، نوشته ای که برایم در مورد لاگ فرستاد کامل و پر محتوا بود،اما به ناچار تنها خلاصه ای از مطلبی را که برایم فرستاده بود اینجا ذکر میکنم.
گروه کاربران گنو/ لینوکس یا لاگ یک سازمان خصوصی، اغلب غیرانتفاعی یا بدون هدف انتفاع است که برای اهداف پشتیبانی و یا آموزش کاربران لینوکس بخصوص کاربران تازهکار لینوکس تشکیل میشود. این عبارت اغلب به گروهی محلی گفته میشود که به صورت فیزیکی دور هم جمع میشوند.
گنو لینوکس داری ساختار قابل تغیری هست . این چیز خوبیست و با دقت کار میکند چون افرادی که در حوزه گنو لینوکس فعالیت میکنند آزاد هستند تا ان طوری که دلخواهشان هست کار کنند همچنین برنامه نویسهای آزاد خوشحالند و برنامه نویسهای خوشحال برنامه نویسهای موثری هستند.
ولی این ساختار متغیر میتواند کاربران جدید را سر در گم کند. بنا بر این چه کسی یک کاربر جدید را به پشتیبانی , تعلیم و یا اموزش دعوت میکند؟ یک کاربر جدید چطور باید بفهمد چه گنو لینوکسی برایش مناسب است ؟
اینجا تا یک اندازه لاگها جوابگو هستند که دلیل حیاتی حرکت لاگ هم همین است. این را در نظر بگیرید که شهر روستا یا کلان شهر شما محدوده ی کاری شرکت لینوکس نیست .در اینجا لاگ نقش های شبیه به هم زیادی را میگیرد و کارهای ناحیه ای را برای شرکت های چند ملیتی بزرگ انجام میدهد .به هر حال به طور گسترده ای در خیلی از مناطق سر تا سر دنیا تخصیص منابع و اموزش کاربران و پشتیبانی محصولات به وسیله لاگ انجام میشود.
لاگها باید کاربران تحصیلکرده و مشاوران متناسبی را آموزش و پشتیبانی کنند و مثل یک پیدا کننده ی راه حل (تحلیلگر یا محاسبه گر ) از گنو لینوکس دفاع کنند و حتی مثل یک رابط برای انتشار اخبار(مربوط به اوپن سورس و گنو لینوکس و خبرهای محلی در این رابطه ) عمل کنند.
اما افراد در این جلسه ها چه کارهایی میکنند؟ ارائه های تخصصی،ایجاد گروه های گفتگوی دوستانه، گروه های کاربری تجاری، نصب گنو/لینوکس، پیکربندی و رفع باگ ها، نصب توزیع های مختلف برای اعضای جدید، آموزش گنو/لینوکس به اعضا، مقایسه ی گنو/لینوکس با سایر سیستم عامل ها، آموزش نرم افزارهای کاربردى، بحث های دفاعی، بحث راجع به جنبش نرم افزار آزاد یا منبع باز و البته خوردن و شاد بودن !همه جز کارهاییست که لاگ ها انجام میدهد.
گروه لاگ علاوه بر گردهمایی های فیزیکی، عمده فعالیت های خود را بر روی منابع Online مانند سایتهای وب، لیستهای پستی، Wiki ها، انجمن های بحث و گفتگو و … بنا نهاده است. اینترنت مهمترین ابزار ارتباطات گروه میباشد.
گرافیست های خوش ذوق، همه در کنار هم!
کم کم داشتم از بچه های گپ گرافیک نا امید میشدم! چند باری پیگیر شدم تا به هر حال علی سیابانی نوشته اش را راجع به جلسات گپ گرافیک برایم فرستاد
نزدیک هشت ماه پیش، جمعی از طراحان جوان شهر تبریز کمر همت بستند برای ایجاد فضایی جدید برای رشد طراحان گرافیک این شهر. جلساتی که شاید در نگاه اول از دید برخی طراحان قدیمی این شهر، از همان ابتدا محکوم به شکست بود. مرام نامه ی این جلسات مبنی بر آموزش و تبادل اطلاعات و تجربیات فردی، بدون کوچکترین چشمداشت، بدور از منيّت های کاذب، فارغ از صفات استاد و شاگردی مرسوم در چنین فضاهایی تدوین گشت.
ایده این جلسات از جلساتcreative mornings وجلسات باز نرم افزاری تبریز بر گرفته شده است و اکنون با گذشت بیست و اندی جلسه ی هفتگی در عصر پنجشنبه ها به میزبانی چند استدیوی طراحی، صاحب هویتی دوست داشتنی و مستقل در میان طراحان علاقمند به پیشرفت و کار گروهی شده است. فرهنگی که به طبع رشد این جلسات منجر به تشکیل جلساتی مشابه در رشته ها و شهر های دیگر نیز شد که از آن جمله میتوان به جلسات گپ عکاسی، گپ مدیریت، جلسات باز طراحان وب و جلسات آزاد آموزشی در تبریز و چند شهر دیگر نام برد. جلسات گپ گرافیک تبریز از همان ابتدا با بررسی مسائل ریشه ای کار خود را آغاز نمود. در ابتدا با بررسی و ریشه یابی علل آلودگی بصری در شهر تبریز و بررسی علل نبود هیجان در آثار گرافیکی شهر، سعی در روشن نمودن نقاط کور این معضل اجتماعی نمود و با تمرکز به موضوعهای دیگری از جمله مراحل پیش تولید یک پروژه ی گرافیکی، تعیین قیمت برای پروژه های گرافیکی، راههای مدیریت زمان در یک پروژه ی گرافیکی، شیوه های ایده پردازی ، طراحی نشانه و لوگوتایپ ، اصول مدیریت یک استدیو طراحی و ... به راه خود ادامه داد. همواره حضور طراحان با تجربه در کنار گرافیست های جوان، کارشناسان مسائل حقوقی، مدیریت منابع انسانی، بازاریابی و فروش، روانشناسی و کار آفرینان به فراخور موضوع مربوطه باعث رونق و افزایش بار علمی و کاربردی این جلسات گشته است. از دیگر فعالیت های جنبی این مجموعه، میتوان به برگزاری جشن روز جهانی هنرمند با حضور هنرمندان پشکسوت تبریز در رشته های مختلف، در آذرماه 92 اشاره نمود که به نوعی گام نخست در برگزاری چنین گردهمایی هایی محسوب میگردد. در پایان با آرزوی رشد روز افزون چنین محفل هایی برای ارتقاء سطح کیفی خدمات در شهرمان تبریز، از تمام علاقمندان به صنعت تبلیغات و طراحی گرافیک، دانشجویان و طراحان صاحب سبک دعوت به حضور در این سری از جلسات می گردد"
خب! این هم از پرونده جلسات مختلف تبریز! حالا هی بیایید بگویید جو و شرایط جور نیست که فلان کار را بکنم یا با فعالان شهر خودم آشنا شوم، یک یک کسانی که در برگزاری این جلسات سهمی دارند، بی هیچ چشم داشتی آماده انتقال دانسته ها و تجربیاتشان هستند، اگر دنبال جایی برای شروع هستید،خجالتو ترس و البته تنبلی! را کنار بگذارید و یک عصر خود را به مهمانی این جمع های دوستانه دعوت کنید

The first time I heard about these open sessions was last summer, when one of my friends, who had attended a few sessions, told me about the open software meetings and showed me their Facebook page. I found it interesting, but I didn't have a positive feeling about participating in a gathering meant for specialists in a field. So I didn't go, and I didn't go until Azar month when I attended a session that was a critique of the Startup Weekend in Tabriz for the first time. Despite being new to the group, I easily joined the discussion, spoke, gave my opinion, and that was the beginning for me to emerge from a long period of inactivity and lack of motivation, and many people in these gatherings became inspiring figures for me to think not just about being better, but to take examples and build myself.
But where did these sessions start, where are they going, and why are they held? I asked some dear ones who are the founders and leaders of the sessions to explain this to you, individuals who will warmly welcome your presence as long as you bring your smile with you to the gathering.
Open Software Sessions, a circle that was a dream and turned into a movement and culture
Some time ago, when I asked Mr. Behrouz Bakhtiari to write a few lines about the open software sessions for me, he sent me the address of his blog, and among their posts, I read about the idea of forming a circle of software specialists, like these literary circles. That same idea, that same dream sparked the possibility for a good culture of learning and teaching to take root in our city. Reading their writings is undoubtedly delightful.
It is enough to scroll through the Tabriz open software sessions page to reach the end of the page and the first posts to know about its history. The result of my conversations with Asad Safari, shared concerns and personal issues in a summer evening resulted in a page on Facebook and a few posts on that page...
Sessions titled Brown Bag Session will be held in Tabriz with the presence of software specialists from Tabriz, and we will inform you about it on this page. The goal of the sessions: Teach and learn - Get to know other cool specialists in the city - Find a job or job seeker - Evaluate your knowledge level and overall "fun"
The main idea of these sessions is derived from sessions called Brown Bag Sessions, which is a method for knowledge sharing within teams. However, our main concern was not just knowledge sharing; one of our biggest problems was finding specialists in the field of software development and active companies in the city, and we wanted to gather these individuals together by holding these sessions. One thing I should add is that from the very first days of the sessions, our goal was not to teach a specific language or technology; our goal was more about how we can be a good developer regardless of a specific language or technology.
The first session - Friday 90/5/21 - more than an hour of waiting for me and Asad yielded no results, and there was no news from other friends. The result was very discouraging, but it was decided to post on the page for the following week as well. In the second session, two other friends joined us, Arash Milani and Aydin Kholousi. In this session, we talked about our goals, perspectives, and concerns, set initial goals for the sessions, and officially began our sessions. Weeks, months, and years passed as we tried to hold the sessions; there were often many excuses for not continuing, but hope and belief in what we had built were greater than any excuse.
The web is in the jug, and we wander thirsty
I know Arash Yazdani thanks to the web design sessions; although I do not have serious activity in this field, Arash always attracts every newcomer to these sessions with his special warmth. The enthusiasm he brings to the session can be traced back to his love for teaching and learning, but from Arash's own words:
For years, I had been active in the IT field and had many friends from various cities in Iran due to my activity, but honestly, I had come to believe that this city, with all its firsts in my specialized field, had no active individuals at all. Although I had liked the "Tabriz Open Software Sessions" page for a long time, it just didn't seem possible for me to attend at least once for the experience. Finally, one week I resolved to definitely attend the session, especially since the topic was SEO, which aligned with my area of expertise. It was a cold autumn or winter Friday afternoon. But it is not an exaggeration to say that despite the cold weather, the warmth of the environment and the friendliness could be felt completely! Imagine entering a gathering of at least 20 people for the first time and not knowing anyone, but in the first half hour, the ice breaks, and you find yourself joining the discussion. It’s like you’ve been in a country where no one spoke your language, and suddenly you enter a gathering where everyone speaks your language, and that means me and all this happiness is impossible!!!
The Tabriz Open Software Sessions, thanks to its founders and the proper management applied to the sessions, did not remain just a name and brand but turned into a mindset! A mindset that led to the establishment of subsequent sessions. Sessions with almost identical titles in the fields of graphics, photography, management, and web design.
Seeing all these beautiful images of empathy among the participants and getting to know a large group of IT activists in Tabriz made me, as an active web designer, think about starting a new session focused on web design and named "Tabriz Open Web Design Sessions." After consulting with friends and creating a dedicated page for the session and after polling for the day and time of holding, we held the first web design session with the theme of "Introduction and Introduction" in autumn 92, and after that, every Wednesday we witnessed maximum attendance from friends, to the extent that in some sessions, the number of attendees reached 70 to 80 people, and by the end of 92, exactly 12 sessions focused on web design were held, and during this time, we witnessed the progressive trend of these sessions day by day...
But I was not alone in the initiation of these sessions; there has been a group of like-minded and united colleagues who I must thank, and a special thanks goes to the Technical Complex of Tehran (Tabriz branch) for providing the hosting space for our sessions.
In conclusion, I wish a bright future for all active friends in this field, and I am sure that the power lies in being united and of one voice.

The Tabriz Management Chat was inspired by the Tabriz Open Software Sessions and the Tabriz Graphic Chat, and with the help of the organizers of these sessions, it was formed in Aban 92 and welcomes enthusiasts in the field of management and entrepreneurship every Tuesday at 5 PM. So far, 17 sessions have been held with the main goal of learning and sharing experiences in collaboration with a group of activists in this field. Although management is a very broad field with many orientations, the focus of the Tabriz Management Chat sessions is on topics related to managing a business, especially small businesses, from the essentials of starting a business to methods of enhancing entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork methods, human resource management, marketing methods, branding, and... all topics that are discussed in these sessions, and the organizers strive to cover topics that do not have the opportunity to be addressed in academic environments. Most participants in these sessions are students or graduates who intend to enter the job market or are business owners themselves looking to learn practical management topics. In these sessions, there is an effort to create a friendly and warm environment so that everyone has the opportunity to express their opinions and share their knowledge with all. In addition, the organizers of the management chat have future plans to introduce major entrepreneurs in the city of Tabriz so that these sessions can contribute a little to the expansion of the culture of entrepreneurship among the youth of our city.

The LUG sessions are a series of sessions that are widely held around the world, and the Tabriz LUG sessions have been active since 84. The GNU/Linux User Group or LUG is a private organization, often non-profit or non-commercial, formed for the purposes of supporting or educating Linux users, especially new Linux users. This term often refers to a local group that physically gathers together.
GNU Linux has a changeable structure. This is a good thing and works efficiently because individuals working in the GNU Linux field are free to work as they wish; also, happy programmers are effective programmers.
But this variable structure can confuse new users. So who invites a new user to support, educate, or train? How should a new user understand which GNU Linux is suitable for them?
Here, to some extent, LUGs are responsive, and this is the vital reason for the movement of LUGs. Consider that your city, village, or metropolis is not the operational area of the Linux company. Here, LUG takes on many similar roles and performs regional tasks for large multinational companies. In any case, resource allocation and user education and product support are widely carried out by LUGs in many areas around the world.
LUGs must train and support educated users and appropriate consultants and defend GNU Linux as a problem solver (analyst or calculator) and even act as a liaison for disseminating news (related to open source and GNU Linux and local news in this regard).
But what do people do in these sessions? Specialized presentations, creating friendly discussion groups, commercial user groups, installing GNU/Linux, configuring and fixing bugs, installing various distributions for new members, teaching GNU/Linux to members, comparing GNU/Linux with other operating systems, teaching practical software, defensive discussions, discussions about the free or open-source software movement, and of course eating and having fun! All are part of what LUGs do.
The LUG group, in addition to physical gatherings, has based most of its activities on online resources such as websites, mailing lists, wikis, discussion forums, and... The internet is the most important communication tool for the group.
Creative graphic designers, all together!
I was gradually losing hope in the graphic chat kids! I followed up a few times until finally, Ali Siyabani sent me his writing about the graphic chat sessions.
About eight months ago, a group of young designers in Tabriz banded together to create a new space for the growth of graphic designers in this city. Sessions that, at first glance, might have seemed doomed to failure in the eyes of some older designers in this city. The charter of these sessions is based on teaching and exchanging personal information and experiences, without the slightest expectation, free from false egos, and devoid of the usual teacher-student attributes in such environments.
The idea of these sessions is derived from Creative Mornings and the Tabriz Open Software Sessions, and now, after more than twenty weekly sessions on Thursday evenings hosted by several design studios, it has gained a lovely and independent identity among designers interested in progress and teamwork. A culture that, as a result of the growth of these sessions, has led to the formation of similar sessions in other fields and cities, including photography chat sessions, management chat sessions, open web designer sessions, and free educational sessions in Tabriz and several other cities. The Tabriz graphic chat sessions began by examining the root issues of their work. Initially, by investigating and identifying the causes of visual pollution in Tabriz and examining the reasons for the lack of excitement in the city's graphic works, they sought to illuminate the blind spots of this social problem and continued their path by focusing on other topics such as the pre-production stages of a graphic project, pricing for graphic projects, time management methods in a graphic project, brainstorming techniques, logo and logotype design, principles of managing a design studio, and... The presence of experienced designers alongside young graphic designers, legal experts, human resource management, marketing and sales, psychology, and entrepreneurs according to the relevant topic has increased the scientific and practical value of these sessions. Among the other side activities of this collection, one can mention the celebration of World Artist Day with the presence of veteran artists from Tabriz in various fields in Azar 92, which is considered the first step in holding such gatherings. In the end, wishing for the continuous growth of such gatherings to enhance the quality of services in our city Tabriz, all enthusiasts in the advertising and graphic design industry, students, and style-setting designers are invited to attend this series of sessions.
Well! This is the report on various sessions in Tabriz! Now keep coming and saying that the atmosphere and conditions are not right for me to do this or to get to know the activists in my city; each of those who have a share in holding these sessions are ready to share their knowledge and experiences without any expectations.
