بیانیه جمعی از متخصصین و فعالان فناوری اطلاعات تبریز در واکنش به حوادث اخیر کشور

جمعی از متخصصین و فعالان فناوری اطلاعات تبریز با انتشار بیانیه‌ای نسبت به حوادث اخیر کشور واکنش نشان دادند. در این بیانیه که به امضای بیش از ۲۰۰ نفر رسیده است و به دو زبان فارسی و ترکی منتشر شده است، آن‌ها خواهان آزادی فعالان فناوری اطلاعات در بند شده و دسترسی به اینترنت را جزو حقوق اصلی و بنیادین خود دانستند.

به نام آزادی

در پی رخدادهای اخیر ایران صدای درخواست مشروع ملت نسبت به حاکمیت قانون و پاسداشت آزادی‌های اساسی به جای‌جای جهان رسیده است. در این بین جریان تمامیت‌خواه در برابر فعالیت‌های مسالمت‌آمیز و آزادی‌خواهانه و برابری‌طلبانهٔ مردم، بالاخص فعالان حقوق زنان، بار دیگر اهرم سرکوب را برگزیده و با تعلیق غیرقانونی حق دسترسی به جریان آزاد اطلاعات حیات اجتماعی، اقتصادی و امنیت مردم را به خطر انداخته‌ است.

کارکرد اینترنت به عنوان بستر تقویت مردم‌سالاری و شریان معیشت زحمت‌کشان، در پی اقدام فراقانونی و سلیقه‌ای نهادهای غیر پاسخگو مختل شده، آزادی‌های مصرح در قانون اساسی به محاق رفته و فریاد دادخواهی هم‌میهنان دل هر انسان آزاده‌ای را به درد آورده است.

تبریز، مهد جنبش مشروطه، به‌عنوان یکی از پیشروان مقابله با استبداد، مبارزه جهت برقراری حکومت قانون و استقرار عدالت‌خانه و دفاع از برابری زنان شناخته می‌شود. تاریخ گواه آن است که سکوت در برابر ظلم ننگی است که دامن اهالی آذربایجان همواره از آن مبرا است.

از این رو سکوت را بیش از این جایز ندانسته و صراحتا اعلام می‌کنیم که ما، به‌عنوان جمعی از متخصصین و فعالان حوزه فناوری اطلاعات تبریز، همراه با مردم و به نوبه خود برخوردهای فراقانونی با شهروندان و قطع اینترنت را با قاطعیت محکوم می‌نماییم.

جریان تمامیت‌خواه با پرونده سازی برای دگراندیشان، فعالان حوزه فناوری اطلاعات و خبرنگاران موجب حبس غیرقانونی آنان به اتهامات واهی شده است. امضاء کنندگان ضمن محکوم نمودن برخوردهای غیرقانونی با منتقدان خواستار اجرای عدالت و آزادی هرچه سریع‌تر محبوس‌شدگان هستند.

قدرت در دست مدیران جامعه امانتی است که باید در راستای تعالی، پیشرفت و توسعه اعمال گردد و سرکوب تجمعات مسالمت‌آمیز ، تفتیش عقاید، سانسور و تصمیمات غیرقانونی به بهانه مصلحت، همه و همه از مصادیق سوء استفاده از قدرت بوده و غیرمشروع و محکوم است‌.

به حکم حق و وظیفه شهروندی به سازمان‌های ذی‌قدرت اعلام می‌نماییم که ایجادِ اختلال و قطع دسترسی مردم به اینترنت آزاد، عملی غیرقانونی و تصمیمی نادرست است. قطع دسترسی به اینترنت، به‌عنوان ابزار کسب معاش و شریان اقتصاد، منجر به از بین رفتن هزاران کسب‌وکار اینترنتی شده و به وخامت وضع معیشتی جامعه بیش از پیش دامن زده است. قطع ارتباط شهروندان با جامعه جهانی عملی ضدتوسعه و مذموم است و موجب بر باد رفتن آرمان پیشرفت میهن خواهد بود. محدود کردن آزادی بیان و حق دسترسی شهروندان به اطلاعات آزاد فسادزا و نافی شفافیت است.

پر واضح است که پافشاری بر این تصمیم غیرکارشناسی و ظالمانه نه تنها از نظر تخصصی و قانونی غیرقابل‌پذیرش است، بلکه از منظر حقوق بنیادین و اساسی بشری نیز محکوم خواهد بود و مسئولیت تمامی خسارات مادی و معنوی و آسیب‌های اجتماعی ناشی از آن مستقیما متوجه آمران آن است.

تنفس در فضای آزادی‌خواه آذربایجان به ما آموخته که در راه آزادی و حقیقت تنها به قدرت جمعی یکدیگر بسنده کنیم که همانا قدرت مردم متحد سیلی است بس عظیم که هیچ ساختار باطلی یارای مقاومت در برابر آن را نخواهد داشت: «ائل گؤجو، سئل گؤجو».

در پایان، از فعالین و متخصصینِ دلسوز در اقصی نقاط آذربایجان، ایران و جهان خواستاریم جهت آگاهی‌بخشی و مقابله با انسداد بسترهای ارتباطی، تمام تلاش خود را انجام دهند و با آموزش، اطلاع‌رسانی و کمک به عموم مردم در تسهیلِ دسترسی به اینترنت آزاد بکوشند.

Statement from a group of specialists and IT activists in Tabriz in response to recent events in the country

A group of specialists and IT activists in Tabriz issued a statement in response to the recent events in the country. This statement, signed by more than 200 people and published in both Persian and Turkish, calls for the freedom of imprisoned IT activists and considers access to the internet as one of their fundamental rights.

In the name of freedom

In the wake of recent events in Iran, the voice of the legitimate demands of the nation regarding the rule of law and the preservation of fundamental freedoms has reached every corner of the world. In this context, the totalitarian movement has once again chosen the lever of repression against the peaceful, freedom-seeking, and equality-demanding activities of the people, especially the activists for women's rights, and has endangered the social, economic, and security lives of the people by illegally suspending the right to access free information.

The function of the internet as a platform for strengthening democracy and a lifeline for the livelihoods of the working class has been disrupted due to the illegal and arbitrary actions of unaccountable institutions, the freedoms enshrined in the constitution have been disregarded, and the cries for justice from compatriots have pained the heart of every free human being.

Tabriz, the cradle of the constitutional movement, is recognized as one of the pioneers in the fight against despotism, the struggle for establishing the rule of law, and the defense of women's equality. History bears witness that silence in the face of oppression is a disgrace that the people of Azerbaijan have always been free from.

Therefore, we do not consider silence permissible any longer and explicitly declare that we, as a group of specialists and IT activists in Tabriz, alongside the people, firmly condemn the illegal actions against citizens and the cutting off of the internet.

The totalitarian movement has caused the illegal imprisonment of dissidents, IT activists, and journalists by fabricating cases against them on baseless charges. The signatories, while condemning the illegal actions against critics, demand the swift implementation of justice and the freedom of the imprisoned.

Power in the hands of community leaders is a trust that must be exercised for the elevation, progress, and development of society, and the repression of peaceful gatherings, the infringement of beliefs, censorship, and illegal decisions under the pretext of expediency are all examples of the abuse of power and are illegitimate and condemned.

By the decree of justice and the duty of citizenship, we declare to the relevant powerful organizations that creating disruption and cutting off people's access to free internet is an illegal act and a wrong decision. Cutting off access to the internet, as a tool for earning a livelihood and the artery of the economy, has led to the destruction of thousands of internet businesses and has exacerbated the economic situation of society. Cutting off citizens' communication with the global community is an anti-development and reprehensible act that will ruin the ideals of the country's progress. Limiting freedom of expression and citizens' right to access free information is corrupting and undermines transparency.

It is clear that insisting on this unprofessional and unjust decision is not only unacceptable from a technical and legal perspective but will also be condemned from the standpoint of fundamental human rights, and the responsibility for all material and moral damages and social harms resulting from it directly falls on those who ordered it.

Breathing in the freedom-seeking atmosphere of Azerbaijan has taught us that in the path of freedom and truth, we should rely solely on the collective power of each other, which is indeed the united people's power, a mighty wave that no false structure can withstand: "El göcü, sel göcü".

In conclusion, we call upon the caring activists and specialists in all corners of Azerbaijan, Iran, and the world to make every effort to raise awareness and combat the blockage of communication platforms, and to assist the general public in facilitating access to free internet.

Tabriz, known as a city that protested against despotism, fought for the establishment of constitutionalism, and worked towards the establishment of justice and equality for women. History shows that the people of Azerbaijan have never remained silent in the face of oppression.

Therefore, we do not consider silence permissible any longer and explicitly declare that we, as technology activists from Tabriz, firmly condemn the illegal actions against our compatriots and the cutting off of the internet.
