رویداد استارتاپ جاده ابریشم فرصتی برای استارتاپ های ایران تا بتوانند در یک رویداد بزرگ در کنار بقیه استارتاپ ها بدرخشند و در معرض دید و قضاوت سرمایه گذاران و داوران معتبر بین المللی قرار بگیرند و فرصت شبکه سازی و آشنایی با استارتاپ های دیگر و داوران بین المللی رو داشته باشند.

یکی از دغدغه‌های بسیاری از استارتاپ‌های ایرانی، دسترسی به موقع به سرمایه لازم و نیز کسب راهنمایی‌های لازم برای گسترش کسب‌و‌کار است. صندوق‌های سرمایه‌گذاری خطرپذیر (Venture Fund) با همین هدف شکل می‌گیرند و در ایران نیز چند سالی است که شاهد فعالیت این مراکز در حمایت از استارتاپ‌های حوزه فناوری هستیم. در این میان، تعامل سازنده‌تر زیست‌بوم استارتاپی ایران با این صندوق‌‌ها، سرمایه‌گذاران بین‌المللی و نیز کارآفرینان موفق می‌تواند زمینه را برای رشد و بالندگی هر چه بیشتر این زیست‌بوم و نیز دستیابی به بازارهای جهانی فراهم سازد.

رویداد استارتاپ جاده ابریشم (Silk Road Startup) نخستین رویداد در نوع خود برای معرفی استارتاپ‌های ایرانی به سرمایه‌گذاران اروپایی است که با هدف تسهیل ارتباطات جهانی، دسترسی بهتر به تجربیات موفق در سطح بین المللی و نیز جذب سرمایه خارجی طراحی شده است.
این رویداد که در دو بخش خواهد بود:
در بخش نخست در ۷ شهر مختلف ایران برگزار می‌شود، تیم استارتاپ جاده ابریشم به همراه هیات داوران (دربردارنده سرمایه‌گذاران خطرپذیر بین‌المللی) طی ۱۰ روز (از ۳۰ مهر تا ۹ آبان) به هشت شهر تبریز، تهران، اصفهان، شیراز، رشت ،یزد و مشهد سفر می‌کنند. در هر یک از این شهرها، استارتاپ‌های حاضر در آن شهر (و یا شهرهای اطراف) فرصتی می‌یابند تا کسب‌وکار خود را به سرمایه‌گذاران و هیات داوران معرفی کنند. که رویداد اول یکم آبان در تبریز خواهد بود.

بخش دوم، نشست بین المللی در جزیره کیش (شامل سخنرانی، شبکه‌سازی و نیز رقابت نهایی برای انتخاب 3 استارتاپ برتر) است، که با فاصله‌ای چند هفته‌ای برگزار خواهد شد.
ثبت نام و حضور در این رویداد برای بخش نخست در شهرها رایگان هست و فرصت پرزنت و ارائه مقابل داوران بین المللی رو دارید.
مجموعا ۱۰۰ استارتاپ از کل شهرها پذیرش خواهد شد برای رقابت و از این ۱۰۰ استارتاپ
10 استارتاپ جهت شرکت در بخش دوم انتخاب خواهد شد و مسابقه و انتخاب 3 استارتاپ برتر در جزیره کیش به انتخاب هیات داوران مشخص خواهند گردید.

10 استارتاپ برگزیده از میان 100 استارتاپ از ۷ شهر ایران، هر کدام دو بلیت رایگان ورود به رویداد بین المللی کیش (در مجموع به ارزش 200 یورو) را به عنوان هدیه دریافت خواهند کرد. تامین هزینه‌های اقامت و نیز رفت و برگشت به کیش نیز جایزه ویژه ۱۰ استارتاپ برگزیده است. در نهایت سه استارتاپ برتر به انتخاب هیات داوران به جوایز نقدی و غیر نقدی متنوعی خواهند داشت و بهره مندی از حمایت‌های مختلف صندوق‌های سرمایه‌گذاری، شتاب‌دهنده ها و فرصت حضور در نمایشگاه‌های بین المللی و ... دست می‌یابند.

The Silk Road Startup event is an opportunity for Iranian startups to shine alongside other startups at a major event and to be seen and judged by international investors and reputable judges, as well as to network and get acquainted with other startups and international judges.

One of the concerns of many Iranian startups is timely access to necessary capital and obtaining the necessary guidance for business expansion. Venture Funds are formed with this goal, and for several years now, we have witnessed the activity of these centers in support of technology sector startups in Iran. In this context, a more constructive interaction of Iran's startup ecosystem with these funds, international investors, and successful entrepreneurs can create the ground for further growth and flourishing of this ecosystem and achieving access to global markets.

The Silk Road Startup event is the first of its kind to introduce Iranian startups to European investors, designed to facilitate global communications, better access to successful experiences at the international level, and attract foreign investment.
This event will be held in two parts:
In the first part, it will take place in 7 different cities in Iran, where the Silk Road Startup team, along with the judging panel (including international venture investors), will travel to eight cities: Tabriz, Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Rasht, Yazd, and Mashhad over 10 days (from October 22 to November 1). In each of these cities, the startups present in that city (or nearby cities) will have the opportunity to introduce their business to investors and the judging panel, with the first event taking place on November 1 in Tabriz.

The second part is an international conference on Kish Island (including speeches, networking, and the final competition to select the top 3 startups), which will be held a few weeks later.
Registration and attendance for the first part in the cities is free, and you have the opportunity to present and showcase in front of international judges.
A total of 100 startups from all cities will be accepted for competition, and from these 100 startups, 10 startups will be selected to participate in the second part, with the competition and selection of the top 3 startups on Kish Island determined by the judging panel.

The 10 selected startups from among 100 startups from 7 cities in Iran will each receive two free tickets to the international event in Kish (worth a total of 200 euros) as a gift. The provision of accommodation costs and travel to and from Kish is also a special prize for the 10 selected startups. Ultimately, the top three startups, as chosen by the judging panel, will receive various cash and non-cash prizes and benefit from the support of various venture funds, accelerators, and opportunities to participate in international exhibitions, etc.
